HI Karen, there is a terrific story here and your angle that captures both the flyer and those catching is well done. The main problem for me is that those in the story are not sharp while the background building is sharp. Given you have a moving subject you might want to think about faster shutter speeds, and given your main subject is a distance from the catchers, you might want to consider a smaller aperture (or a focal point on the flyer). Don't be afraid to use higher ISO readings to achieve this. Denoise is permitted as part of the editing rules.   Posted: 04/09/2024 03:51:55

You have tried to capture this action shot with perfection by choosing a good angle, but your camera settings needed to be different. The building in the background is sharper than the main subject and those waiting below. Agree with Jen for you should have set faster shutter speed and smaller aperture, but I do not know what focus mode you had.   Posted: 04/13/2024 03:01:37

A nice picture filled with festival atmosphere. A low angle projection coupled with a wide angle lens nicely captured both the flyer and the catcher. I suspect a slight change of angle protection might increase the inclusion of the blue sky -this may help separate the flyer from the surrounding building . It might also improve the focusing point on the flyer as well.   Posted: 04/14/2024 01:34:38
