An interesting and very topical image this month, Jenny. Yes I agree, the crowd can sometimes be more interesting than the real thing! I love the fact they are all looking up (and it's still daylight and its overcast!) seemingly hopeful that it will all start soon! I'm guessing this is taken on a mobile phone.

Thanks! I can see the difference. I didn't realize the original was so washed out.   Posted: 04/26/2024 20:04:47

Without reading the description of this image I can make out from body language of these few people wearing goggles and looking up towards a common direction that they are looking at an eclipse. Had the eclipse been included in its vertical frame, if possible, this could be more interesting image.   Posted: 04/13/2024 03:34:09

I'm not sure what you mean. It would be virtually impossible to meter my camera for an eclipse and still be able to see the people watching it in the frame. Do you mean like in a series of vertical pictures?   Posted: 04/26/2024 20:13:02

I like the eclipse photos better. The colors are beautiful. Anyway, cropping closer to the figures on the sidewalk makes a stronger image. Nice, though, and timely.
Well done.   Posted: 04/28/2024 23:08:14
