The image was captured at the London Canada 30th pride parade. The previous year, the mayor led the parade. In 2024, his group was toward the end of the parade. This might be the type of image put in the London Free Press to show the city's support of LGBT.

Hi Judith, It's good to see that some parts of the world celebrate all kinds of good people. Since us Yanks don't recognize the London mayor, the caption is necessary clarification. The bits of rainbow flag in the image reinforce the pride idea. Seeing a bit of sideline and the waves tell us that we are seeing a parade. The image is alive with movement.
