The Village at Penn State is a continuing care retirement community that consists of independent living, personal (or assisted) care, and nursing care facilities. In the center of the Village is a community room where many activities are offered.

In late November 2025, the freshman players of the Penn State football team arrived via bus and interacted with the residents there. They served ice cream to the residents, mingled and chatted, and then some got on stage and performed a fun drum routine, shown here, on the stage. Many of the residents are avid Penn State sports fans, so this was very much appreciated. This is the best shot I have of everyone's face, the one guy on the far right though is obscured.
