She looks like she is having fun. The guys, not as much. The height difference between them is comical.
I think the next shot of the ball leaving her hand would have more impact.

Hello Edward, I think this is a wonderful story that tells us so much about disabled sport. Having worked in special olympics (athletics) a while back I am aware of the passion, the joy and the humour that these athletes give us. You have captured a special moment, with the middle basketballer aiming for the basket, and the other two watching the basket. The expression on her face is wonderful.
Since you have not given us any description or settings I can't comment on what was your intent, or how suitable the settings might have been. I might have preferred to see this image a bit wider, so that the full bodies are included in the image and the height difference might be even more apparent. It does appear that your shutter speed might be a little slow as your subjects are just a bit soft.   Posted: 05/17/2026 16:54:32

Hi Ed, I agree with Jen that showing the figures down to their feet would improve the appearance of the height difference. The shooters facial expression is terrific. Photographing with a bigger aperture (e.g. f/2.8) focused on the shooter would help give the image a more dimensional quality. Karl   Posted: 05/17/2026 20:14:24
