About the Image(s)
Canon EOS R10, ISO 200, 1/395, f7.1, 240 mm lens, hand held, polarizer.
Our small group went down a small section of the Colorado River just outside of Moab, Utah, called the 'Moab Dailies' after the professional rafting companies that do daily runs on these sections.
Our group had 2 IKs (inflatable kayaks) and a paddle board. I went through first to take photos of the guys coming down. I found it very difficult to take photos of anything in a moving IK on water that is not flat!

Hi Birgit, I like solid ground. This is a good photo given the conditions. Maybe increasing ISO to allow 1/1000 or higher shutter speed might help. Cropping a bit from the left and bottom are possible while maintaining the sense of place. Karl   Posted: 05/17/2026 19:54:54
