About the Image(s)

Pretty Muddy Race for Life is an event with the purpose of collecting funds for Cancer Research. It consists of a race with obstacles to overcome. Besides being fun, it tests the strength, endurance and spirit of competing. There is no timing and no obligation to complete all the obstacles. The participants are in for the sole purpose of having fun, a great experience, regardless of their athletic ability. The funds go for Cancer Research, and has an impact on awareness, extend vital support to patients and survivors, and collectively diminishes the shock of Breast Cancer.

A few years back all the girls of the organization decided to participate in the run. Original 1 shows part of the group before the race and of course, the official photographer. The main image shows some of them just completing one of the obstacles, and original 2 shows three girls just having fun.

Images created with the Nikon D3s with the Nikkor zoom lens 28-300 mm f/3.5-5.6 with various focal lengths and settings. The images were PP in LightRoom and cropped.
