About the Image(s)

Recently I was photographing a Rugby game for the first time and was impressed by how aggressive it is. The players have no body protection and they jump over each other and tackle with no hesitation. In one of these movements, this player twisted his ankle and had to be walked out of the field as seen in the main image. as a side note, the following week I was photographing another game with the same team in white (Fort Lauderdale) and this guy had a boot on. He ruptured his achilles tendon and had surgery. He will need the boot for a couple of months, nonetheless, he was back with his team the following week, taking video (Original)

Images created with a Nikon Z8 with the Nikkor zoom lens 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 and these settings: ISO 250, f/5 and 1/1600 sec. Imgaes were PP in LightRoom and cropped.
