About the Image(s)

This is a story that can be read in many different ways. Because it is actually a steam train that goes from Durango to Silverton, this was probably not a sad goodbye, but the wonderful light coming through the open doorway and the younger woman leaning over the older woman really caught my eye and my imagination.

In post processing, I boosted the light on the younger woman's face a bit and lowered the light patch on the floor without darkening it entirely. I also brightened the entire photo a bit, as it was quite dark, but I didn't want to make it feel like it was as bright inside as outside.
