A Yogi is someone who practices yoga. This man was sitting at one of the ghats in Varanasi, wrapped up against the cold. Behind him, many pigeons gathered. I knew the moment someone walked past, the pigeons would take flight. I wanted to capture them in motion. So I set my camera accordingly, waited—and yes, I got the shot,
Exif : 1/60, 1/22. ISO 100 -1ev. with Canon 6D 24-105. (to achieve 1/60, at the lowest ISO, I had to narrow down aperture to f22), It was handheld & I didn't have a filter too

Vinaya, this image is fascinating indeed. Perfect timing. It has a mysterious look with just the Yogi's silhouette and the blurred flying birds. Seems to have been taken out from a Hitchcock's movie. Posted: 10/07/2025 20:11:33
