About the Image(s)
In West Bengal, India, there is a well-known wholesale market for vegetables, fish, and other produce that supplies much of North-East India. Each sack of vegetables typically weighs around 50 to 60 kilograms, and it often takes four to five workers to lift one.
What stands out is the level of coordination among the workers. They move in sync, sharing the load with efficiency. It is truly worth capturing on camera.

Vinaya, this image is very good. incredible the coordination that is needed to move this heavy load on their heads, and not to trip and fall. No question that they are the center of attention, but I wish that the man next to the truck was not amputated.   Posted: 05/17/2026 23:46:52

Good HI image, well-centered and well-exposed.   Posted: 05/18/2026 10:56:29

Your image captures my attention right away in your main subject of the 5 men with their bodies pressed together underneath that huge load and their steps in coordination. The moment of capture shows them making the slight turn toward the truck, and although the body of the worker on the left is cut off a bit, there is enough there to add to the story as he prepares to hoist his bundle up to the man in the truck bed. Focus is sharp, and the colors are vibrant and interesting.   Posted: 05/18/2026 14:28:12

Hello Vinaya, this is just a wonderful HI moment with all the men pressed together and coordinated. Well done to spot this as see it as a worthy PJ image. I can see you have allowed some space for the men to walk into. The background men don't bother me at all, and they are just part of the story of the work they are doing. I note that the background is a little softer which is a good thing and helps to separate the main subjects. I do think this is an image worthy of submitting to a PJ (general or HI) competition.   Posted: 05/19/2026 18:48:12
