I took this during a cold photowalk in New York when I saw steam coming from a grate. I enjoyed the line created by the steam and the shadowy figure on the motorbike and the pops of light from the storefronts.

HI Muthoni, I think this is just wonderful, its moody, mysterious and tells a great story about life at night in NYC (I do love those steam grates). Your main subject (which I consider to be the bike) has room to ride into, and he is well supported by the night time background. An interesting concept to blur the front, but keep the back sharp, but it's really worked well here. Posted: 05/06/2025 16:24:23
Looks like..."HOT time, summer in the city". Big song back in the day. But guess it's not hot, but cold.
