About the Image(s)

Over autumn in Melbourne, our major market (Queen Victoria Market) host a weekly "Hawker Market" during April. This is a large open air pavilion with lots of asian style street food, music, entertainment and bars. Its a fun night out, but a challenge for photography as its quite dark, loaded with smoke from the open BBQ's but both fascinating and delicious.
This was just one of about 50 stalls preparing chicken and pork on skewers.
I actually printed out a copy of this image for these people, who were delighted, and I was rewarded with a free 'tasting'.
