Hi Christine, I really like the layers and the repetition in this shot. Like others have said, it would be nice to see more faces. Contrary to others, I wonder if you could have focused on one rower? I think this is a very strong sports image, that focuses on the effort and coordination of the paddlers. However, this would be considered sporting action given they are wearing similar team shirts and are very focussed on their action. As such, this image would actually be DQ'd in a Human Interest section, since 'sporting action' is an exemption to Human Interest images.
As a general PJ, or PJ-sports image, this is excellent, the colors look real, and your settings are strong.   Posted: 06/12/2025 01:50:29
