While waiting at the baggage claim in Dubrovnik, I saw these young people doing what young people do...
each looking at their own iPhones. It wouldn't be all that interesting, but I loved the backdrop.
taken with my travel Sony RX100-7 f/7.1, 1/100, ISO 6400, (It was dark in there), 20mm.

Hi Leslie. Another interesting photo showing the use of a mobile phone in another location. I don't know what CRISTAL means but being cutoff to the right gives the impression it is not complete this may have been included and, in this case, the two people would be in the centre of the photo. With the strong CRISTAL background this appears the focus of the photo. Posted: 11/03/2025 17:44:19
You're probably right. Including a little more on right would have been a good idea. Altho, I wouldn't have wanted the subjects to be in the middle. I liked including the unmoving luggage conveyor belt. I don't consider the Cristal background the focus, only a very strong background behind the waiting travelers. Leslie - Great moment to capture and one we can all relate to - stuck in an airport waiting for something to happen. One thing I might have played with is rotating the image to make the tops of the letters in "CRISTAL" horizontal. Posted: 11/04/2025 15:12:16
but then the frame would be at a slant. If I'd thought about it at the time, I should have taken the shot from a different angle...such is shooting in the moment without a thought to the result. Posted: 11/04/2025 15:29:29
