I went out with a camera club group for PJ on the Pearl St. Mall. This was my favorite. They were celebrating Boulder Arts Week and a dance group was performing.
Canon EOS 90D, f/10, 1/640, ISO 800, 47mm.

HI Leslie, good to see you out and about with your camera club. I love this image, although they might be 'dancing' it does look like an uncoordinated 'free for all', which does add a bit of humour to your image. The three dancers with matching striped shirts really works well and the on-lookers face is just priceless. Nice settings, although f10 was probalby not necessary and a narrower aperture might have softened the background a bit. All three dancers are nicely framed, and contained, in the image. The colors look natural and that 'Boulder Arts' Signage really helps. Posted: 05/17/2026 16:34:25
It was a bit of a free-for-all and I take your suggestion to close the aperture to heart. The busy background put off others too. Looks like with this iteration it could be saturated a bit more too. Posted: 05/17/2026 18:26:52
